This project by the Portuguese Red Cross - Vila Real de Sto. António Delegation, developed in partnership with the VRSA Municipality, represents a new social response of a socio-educational nature, aimed at supporting the family and the child, designed to welcome children up to the age of 3, during the period corresponding to the impediment of their parents or those exercising parental responsibilities. It aims to guarantee a greater response from our community, with the opening of 35 new places for children. all the classrooms are covered by the free childcare grantprovided by the Social Security Institute.
The inauguration of this space was also attended by the Mayor of VRSA, Dr. Álvaro Araújo, the Director of the Faro District Centre for Social Security, Dr. Margarida Flores, MP Dr. Jorge Botelho, the President of the Vila Nova de Cacela Parish Council, Dr. Luís Rodrigues, as well as other political representatives and other entities.
The "Os Piratinhas" crèche aims to contribute to the quality of life and well-being of children and their families, filling a great need in the parish of Vila Nova de Cacela. In this way, we hope to meet your best expectations, offering a welcoming environment where, in addition to a quality teaching/learning process, with innovative methods, the children will find a space with creative activities that stimulate them and allow them to experience school with pleasure.
